ScoreBoard is a new PC-based software for displaying game results during competitions.
The software is based on MS-Windows and is very easy to use. A special control unit allows for fatigue-free operation, enabling the user to fully concentrate on the game.

On the first ad
The ScoreBoard software was developed for both small and large events and for permanent installations.
This single-mode setup can be used for small sporting events. A laptop is connected, and the operator screen then appears on the monitor. PCs in this class typically have a second graphics output, to which the results monitor is connected. The setup is therefore extremely simple; only one cable needs to be connected.
For permanent installations, we recommend server mode. It can be operated within a computer network, allowing for long cable runs. Furthermore, different locations within a hall can be defined from which the operator can connect, as different sports typically require different operator positions.
There are several options for the display medium. The following techniques are typically used.
Various sizes are available, up to a size of 2 meters, which is sufficient for many halls. It is particularly important when purchasing a monitor that it has protective glass against ball impacts.
Projectors are extremely versatile. Modern devices are very bright and can be used for both front and rear projection. By using the right lens, almost all requirements regarding projection distance and image size can be met.
LED walls are available for permanent installations or mobile use, both indoors and outdoors. They come in high, medium, and low resolutions and can be extremely bright. VICOM LED displays feature certified ball protection.

Creating the Texts:
A common problem with multilingual translations is coordinating with the translators, as they are usually not present during rehearsals. For this reason, the operator can write individual comments for each text block in each language and record these comments during rehearsals and proofreading. Only then are the text excerpts exported in the respective languages and sent to the translators for revision. The revised excerpts are then written back into the program.

VICOM offers the perfect product to meet the specific requirements of opera houses and theaters. The LEDs are typically supplied with a pixel pitch of 6 mm, 4 mm, or 2.5 mm. Display heights of 50 cm, 67 cm, one meter, or other dimensions are available.
We are happy to calculate the optimal display size and pixel pitch for you individually. All our LED units are delivered without external fans, ensuring virtually silent operation at all times.
Optionally, our LED displays are available with a protective metal frame. This frame can be easily removed from the display, preventing damage to the LEDs from contact with the floor.
For outdoor use, e.g., at opera festivals or open-air events, we supply weatherproof units that operate reliably even in adverse conditions. They can remain outdoors for the entire duration of the performance.
